I have written on the New Age before, so I will not get into it in detail in this introduction. You can find the article in my blog. I felt compelled to dedicate a whole page to the New Age, as it’s gaining more and more ground in the lives of people predominantly in the developed nations. At the same time Christianity is becoming more and more irrelevant to the majority of people as they don’t see it having much of an effect in everyday life. Of course in reality this is not true, one just needs to look in the right place. New Age, however, seems exciting, because it offers some sort of a functioning spirituality to the hungry seeker. First of all, Christianity works as well, and in fact superbly. Secondly, the point is not only about what works or not. Of course that’s an important factor, but the Ponzi scheme works too. So, what do you do?
It is vital to examine all aspects of a spiritual practice! This is why I thought it to be important to share a link to a website that is solely dedicated to this quest. What is it rooted in, what is it connected to, what are the pitfalls, and what is it not telling you? These are all relevant questions to which you have to have the answer before you subject yourself to a particular practice. The author of this website has been deeply involved with the New Age in the past, so he has a wealth of first-hand experience. Be blessed in your search!
