One of the lesser known facts is that Christianity is the most persecuted faith in the world today. There are some shocking statistics about how many Christians die for their faith each year. Christianity is also the one that is spreading the fastest, and is equally present in all the continents, which proves that it’s not culturally dependent.

Jesus claimed to be the light of the world and also said that people loved darkness more than light. Light exposes darkness and that can be a hated fact by some. We are born into a spiritual war from day one, whether we like it or not, whether we acknowledge it and believe it or not. Darkness fights the light and in some cases goes as far as putting out the light bearer. It happened with Jesus, and it’s still happening with thousands and thousands of his followers to this very day.
